Welcome to Door County Coworking (the “Space”). We are excited to have you as a member of our co-working community. To ensure a safe, productive, and enjoyable environment for all, please read and adhere to the following Terms of Use and Code of Conduct. By purchasing access to the Space, you agree to comply with these rules and guidelines: 1. Membership Access: a. Membership Payment: Access to the Space is granted upon successful payment of membership fees. b. Non-transferable: Memberships are non-transferable and may only be used by the individual or entity named on the membership. 2. Space Usage: a. Workspace Availability: The availability of desks, offices, meeting rooms, and amenities may vary and is subject to space availability. b. Respect for Shared Spaces: Be considerate of fellow members by maintaining a clean, organized, and professional workspace. c. Personal Property: The Space is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property. Please secure your belongings. 3. Code of Conduct: a. Respect Others: Treat all fellow members, guests, and Space staff with respect and courtesy. Discriminatory, harassing, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. b. Noise Levels: Maintain appropriate noise levels in shared areas. Use designated quiet spaces for phone calls or meetings. c. Personal Hygiene: Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness to ensure a pleasant environment for everyone. d. Compliance with Laws: Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and regulations while in the Space. e. Safety and Security: Report any safety concerns or security issues to Space staff immediately. Do not tamper with security systems or emergency equipment. f. Use of Amenities: Use shared amenities, such as kitchen facilities, printers, and Wi-Fi, responsibly and considerately. 4. Guest Policy: a. Guest Access: Guests are allowed but must follow all Space rules and guidelines. Members are responsible for their guests’ conduct. b. Visitor Check-In: All guests must check in at the Space reception and comply with the Space’s policies. 5. Privacy: a. Respect Privacy: Do not intrude on the privacy of fellow members. Avoid taking photographs or recording without permission. 6. Termination of Membership: a. Violation of Terms: Failure to comply with these Terms of Use and Code of Conduct may result in the termination of your membership without refund. b. Right to Evict: The Space reserves the right to evict members or guests who engage in disruptive or inappropriate behavior. 7. Changes to Terms: a. Amendments: The Space may modify these Terms of Use and Code of Conduct at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes. 8. Termination of Access: a. Termination by Member: Members may terminate their access by providing written notice to the Space. b. Termination by the Space: The Space may terminate access for any reason, including non-payment or violation of these terms. 9. Liability: a. Liability Waiver: Members assume all risks associated with their use of the Space and agree not to hold the Space liable for any damages or injuries. 10. Governing Law: a. Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by the laws of Wisconsin, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Wisconsin. By purchasing access to Door County Coworking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and Code of Conduct. Failure to comply with these terms may result in the termination of your membership. Please contact the Space staff if you have any questions or require clarification.
